Edelweiss, also known as Leontopodium alpinum, is a renowned alpine flower originally from high-altitude regions of Europe and is famous in the Alps. The construction of this flower involves three parts: stamens, petals, and leaves. There are no complex techniques required; just pay close attention to the flower's form during assembly.

Part I: Stamens

1                                                         2

1. Prepare six yellow velvet strips, each 1.2 cm long, and one green velvet strip, also 1.2 cm long.
2. Sharpen both ends and trim into a ball shape.

3                                                          4

3. Use scissors to remove the brass wire from one end of each strip.
4. With the green velvet strip in the center, wrap the six yellow strips around it, tie them together, and set aside.

Part II: Leaves

1                                                    2

1. Prepare five green velvet strips, each 3.2 cm long.

2. Sharpen both ends.

3                                                   4

3. Flatten the strips from bottom to top using the clamping board, spray with setting water, and then flatten again with the clamping board.
4. Remove the brass wire from one end, trimming the strip into the shape shown in the picture.

5

5. Wrap the base of the leaves with green silk thread to hide the brass wire.

Part III: Petals

1                                                   2

1. Prepare seven beige velvet strips, each 3.5 cm long, and seven white velvet strips, each 4 cm long.

2. Sharpen both ends, remove the brass wire from one end, and flatten with the clamping board.

3

3. After flattening, spray with setting water and flatten again with the clamping board, setting them aside as petals of different sizes.

Assembly

1                                                        2

1. Assemble the stamens prepared in Part I with a small beige leaf as shown in the picture.

2. Sequentially assemble the first layer of beige petals, using green silk thread.

3                                                      4

3. Complete the assembly of the first layer of petals as shown in the picture.
4. Using the same method, assemble the second layer of white petals. The second layer of petals is completed as shown in the picture.

5                                                       6

5. Continue to wrap the base of the flower with silk thread.
