Round Leaves

Materials and Tools: Velvet strips, Ruler, Scissors, Tweezers, Hair straightener, Setting water

Round leaves can also be categorized into round and flat types. When making these leaves, pay attention to the technique of pinching in half. Do not be rough or careless.

Round Type

1. Prepare a 6.5 cm long green velvet strip.

2. Pinch both ends first.
3. Then pinch in half.

4. Use tweezers to fold the brass wire in half and twist the ends together.
5. Adjust the shape with tweezers.

6. Finish, and assemble with any petals as desired.

Flat Type

1. Prepare a 5.5 cm long dual-gradient green velvet strip.

2. Pinch both ends, then pinch in half from the middle.
3. Complete the pinching.

4. Use tweezers to fold the brass wire in half and twist the ends together.
5. Adjust it into the shape of a leaf.
6. Use a hair straightener to flatten the velvet strip from bottom to top.

7. Spray some setting water on the velvet strip and flatten it again with the hair straightener.
