3.7 Chanhua 3D Two-Tone Petals

1. Prepare two-tone petal templates, copper wire, and two different colors of velvet or silk threads.

2. Use the single leaf technique to make the border petals. Set them aside for assembly.

3. Use the basic petal technique to wrap one base petal. Hold the end, but do not cut the thread yet.

4. Fold the petal in half, leaving a small gap in the middle.

5. Pass the thread through the gap in the middle of the petal. Then wrap it around the copper wire once to secure.

6. Add the border petal you made earlier. Use your finger to gently bend the border petal so it fits against the folded center petal. Then wrap the thread around both petals to secure them together.

7. When finished, the petals will be attached together, creating a 3D effect. Both the front and side views look more beautiful.

8. Use the same method to make more petals. Assemble them one by one.

9. Your 3D two-tone flower is now complete. You can choose stamen according to your preference.
