Share

1. Wrap the "書" (Book) character template with 0.4mm diameter color-protected copper wire and silk threads.

2. Use mini pliers to help bend the copper wire ends at the back of the piece so they lie flat.

3. Use cutting pliers to trim away any extra copper wire. Apply jewelry glue to the wire ends to secure them.
4. Let the jewelry glue dry. One character stroke piece is now complete.

5. Repeat steps 2 to 4 to make all the stroke pieces for the character.

6. Take the stroke piece that is a "vertical" line. Apply jewelry glue to the area where strokes cross. Glue on a "horizontal" stroke piece. Set it aside to dry.

7. Follow the order shown in the picture. Glue the stroke pieces together one by one to secure them. The top part of the "書" character is now complete.
8. Use the same method to glue and fix the stroke pieces for the bottom part of the character.

9. Glue the top and bottom parts of the "書" character together to form the complete character.

10. Prepare the finished "書" character Chanhua and three small velvet flowers. Use the techniques from "Creative Chanhua Making Tips" to make firework flowers, multicolored space-dyed flowers, and small daisy flowers.
11. Take an ear pick hairpin base. Apply jewelry glue to one end of the base as shown in the picture, and fix the "書" character Chanhua onto it.

12. Add the firework flower and small daisy flower to the lower right side of the "書" character Chanhua. Wrap them with silk threads to secure them in place.
13. Add one small velvet flower to the middle part of the base to cover any joints or wires.

14. Add the multicolored space-dyed flower to the lower left side of the "書" character Chanhua and secure it. Then use the invisible finishing technique to finish the ends.
15. Take a small flower-shaped copper finding. Attach it to the end of the Chanhua piece. Use flat nose pliers to squeeze it closed and secure it.

16. Use jewelry glue to fix one small velvet flower to the left side of the "書" character for decoration.

17. The Chanhua "Wonderful Brush" piece is now complete.
