3.9 Chanhua Hollow Petal

1. Prepare 0.3mm and 0.4mm copper wire, silk threads, a hollow petal template, and various beads.

2. Take the 0.4mm copper wire. Use the basic petal technique to wrap half of the petal. At the connection point in the middle, add one piece of 0.3mm copper wire. Wrap the thread around it twice to secure.

3. Move the 0.3mm copper wire to one side. Continue wrapping the rest of the petal. Wrap the thread around the end twice to temporarily secure it.

4. Bring the 0.3mm copper wires together and straighten them. Then use pliers to pinch the tip of the petal to make it pointed.

5. Thread various beads onto the 0.3mm copper wires for decoration.

6. Bend the 0.3mm copper wires back so they lie against the copper wire at the base of the petal. Wrap with thread to secure. Your hollow petal is now complete.
