When I ordered this I was on the fence about it because of the greenish tint but in the end I love it and it may even be my favourite of the six hair pins I ordered from here. It is absolutely gorgeous, long, straight, with a complex and detailed design. The green tint is very subtle and I quite like it actually. This black wood rose hair pin is a beautiful hair pin for all occasions. It is real wood, straight, long (enough to hold all your hair but not so heavy it falls out), a slightly more simple design than others but still detailed in its make up. My favourite thing about this rose hair pin is how it feels like a meeting in the middle of our cultures - roses are very British and this style of hair pins is very Chinese. I paired this up with the black wood tulip hair pin, which is slightly shorter and curved.
