I heard that brass wire is more difficult to twist and I was worried it would be a strain, but it was fine. The price is better here than I could find anywhere else.

When I ordered this I was on the fence about it because of the greenish tint but in the end I love it and it may even be my favourite of the six hair pins I ordered from here. It is absolutely gorgeous, long, straight, with a complex and detailed design. The green tint is very subtle and I quite like it actually. This greenish light wood hair pin can hold lots of hair like buns, ponytails, etc. I paired it up with the black wood ocean wave hair pin, which is shorter and curved.

It is curved and slightly shorter so perfect for holding less hair like half updos or paired with a longer, straight hair pin to hold lots of hair. I paired this with the black wood rose hair pin. This black wood rose hair pin is a beautiful hair pin for all occasions. It is real wood, straight, long (enough to hold all your hair but not so heavy it falls out), a slightly more simple design than others but still detailed in its make up. My favourite thing about this rose hair pin is how it feels like a meeting in the middle of our cultures - roses are very British and this style of hair pins is very Chinese. I paired this up with the black wood tulip hair pin, which is slightly shorter and curved.
