Fix the shape of the velvet petals - Ronghua Tutorials
Share
After the velvet petals are trimmed, they need to be finally shaped.
1.Continuing from the previous text, taking the peony flower as an example, the peony flower to be made is divided into four layers of petals. The smallest petals on the innermost side are shown in the figure and do not need any treatment.
2.The second layer of smaller petals counted from the inside needs to use a flower ironing tool to bend the outer corners inward to form an inwardly wrapped shape (be careful not to use too much force, and be careful of not scalding your hands), as shown in the figure. If there is frizz after ironing, don’t worry, just use a small brush to dip a little Setting Liquid, and gently brush it to recover (we can also use styling water for daily maintenance of Ronghua, if the Ronghua is exposed to the sun for too long, and frizz occurs, you can brush a little styling water to recover it).
3.The larger petals of the third layer counted from the inside need to brush a little styling water on the outside of the petals to soften it before using the flower ironing tool, and make the edge of the petals more natural curvature.
4.The largest petals on the outermost layer also need to wet the edges of the petals with styling water to soften them. Finally, use the flower ironing tool to iron out the desired curvature. It should be noted that the curvatures of the two outer layers of petals are different, and the curvature of the outermost layer should be more relaxed.
